General Outline

The Danish Physical Society arranges the first Common Meeting of the Nordic Physical Societies in collaboration with the Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish Physical Society.

The Nordic Meeting of the Physical Societies consists of plenary lectures, parallel topical sessions as well as poster sessions in astrophysics, atomic & molecular and optical physics (AMO), bio- and medical physics, condensed matter physics, educational physics, nanophysics and nanomaterials, nuclear and elementary particle physics, plasma physics. During the meeting posters and new products will exhibited. Finally the general assembly of the Danish Physical Society takes place after the meeting at 13.30 on Thursday, 18 June.

The meeting is a good opportunity for people working in physics and related fields to present their work, meet old and new colleagues and join both formal and informal discussions about all aspects of physics in Nordic countries (and elsewhere of course;-)

Especially students and young researchers are encouraged to attend and present their work.
